I've been eating here since I was old enough to chew my own food. They have a layered crust, with a perfectly crispy bottom and a light, almost pastry-like second layer, then followed by a well spiced and delicious sauce. The ingredients are always about as good as you will find anywhere on pizza. My favorite is to get a pest base, and then top it with italian sausage, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, feta cheese, sometimes adding spinach, roasted garlic, red onions or mushrooms as the mood fits. As a native, this is my favorite pizza joint in Portland.

I miss this place real desperate-like now that I'm in NYC, makin' a go of it as a male hustler. They always did my pizza right. Their large pizzas routinely weighed a ton, and had the finest, freshest ingredients; good value there. Their pizza sauce is some of the dad-blamedest stuff I have ever tasted in my life; fresh, tangy, right hearty and homemade-tastin'. Try findin' its like in NYC. I guaruntee, you'll sooner find a friendly New Yorker.

Also the mozzereller they use has a consistency you either don't get out here in Fun City or pay a King's Ransom for; creamy yet with a whole kit-and-kaboodle of spring and snap.

Now if they'd only bring in some strippers, the place'd be perfect.

Count yer blessin's, Stumptowners.

And thanks for the memories, American Dream Pizza.

I order a slice of cheese and soda, wasn't anything exceptional. I was a little disappointed that you have to pay for refills, considering they use plastic cups and fountain soda, having worked in the restaurant industry fountain soda costs about 5 cents a glass at most. So paying over $2 for soda that was mostly ice is certainly frustrating.

I live just a couple of blocks from this place, and I wish I liked their pizza, if only on those nights when I'm too exhausted to cook.

Sadly, it's the only pizza I've ever eaten that I truly cannot stand; it's the flavor of their crust, which tastes like a mouthful of baking soda and Saltine crackers to me. I've had it several times (my roomies don't hate it like I do) and it's always been the same; this is just how the Dream makes it.

i have only ordered pizza for delivery since i have Dove Vivi and Ken's within walking distance for dine-in.

A.D.pizza is some good stuff. it reminds me of the rustic, homey pizzas that my dad used to make.

the fifth beatle pizza (minus onion, plus salami and pineapple) is awesome.

vegans can go jump in a creek. you don't like food. you don't like flavor. shut up and go chew on some carrots and quit trying to play with the big kids

I like to bring the kids, or any other aspiring artist, and draw on the pizza boxes while eating kick ass bread sticks and ranch. I am not a huge fan of the sourdough crust for pizza, but they let you build your own salad that also rocks the sticks.

I read on one of the reviews that this pizza is vegan! It is NOT. There are eggs in the dough. I know this for a fact because I work there. I know a lot of people order their pizza without cheese thinking it will then be vegan. I always ask these people if they are vegan. Anyway, just giving a heads up. This pizza is good though if you do eat the animals.
