I almost don't want to rate this place because I like not having to wait too long in line. If you like authentic Mexican food, that isn't drowning in cheese this is the place. They make all of their own sauces, everything is delicious and fresh. The portions are very generous (I can never finish mine!). The staff is friendly and willing to do substitutions for special diets.
So seriously what are you waiting for go eat there already, just don't be surprised when I elbow you to the back of the line.

Wow... OK, so take it from someone who grew up in Mexico City and ate tacos al pastor from the local corrugated-tin-roofed-shack snack-stop there (there's one in every colonia: this is about as authentic as you're gonna find. No ifs, ands or buts. I nearly wept. Did I say Wow already? OK.

if I were a single man I would curl up with you in a minute and spend my days listening to you play guitar for me.

They cast a powerful spell. Everything is delicious, plentiful, and amazingly cheap. They have vegan food (even spectacular tamales) and food to make the meat-eaters happy. The staff is nice, and the service is fast. The best place to sit is at one of those little window seats on either side of the door with the sun warming the room. A slice of heaven.
