<![CDATA[I really don't get why this place is so popular. It is over priced, and definitely not a $ price range resurant. breakfast should not be 13$ plus tip unless the food is actually decent. The yolk in the eggs benedict was hard boiled and the service was terrible too. This is the second time I have tried this place and I really do not know why it is often busy. Go here if you want an over priced greasy spoon that will make you slightly sick afterwords.

<![CDATA[We keep trying to give this place another (and another, etc) chance but it never works. Charging over $10 for generous portions of grease, rude employees with shitty attitudes. How did they even hire this one particular waitress who can't get an order right or bring coffee, a box, anything but a shitty attitude. I had to get up at least twice: terrible service. Don't bring kids here. Their $5 fruit bowl was horrible and inedible! OLD, brown and frozen. How do you fuck up a fruit bowl?? Stay FAR away. Didn't want to even give them 1 star.

Every small cafe in this town has this mantra. Come on, if you want mediocracy on your breakfast plate then go to Denny's cause they deliver that and then some.. Get real and get down to the best little a.m. digs in Southeast to enjoy sun (in your eyes), fun, bloodys, and big plates of yum yums.

<![CDATA[I wish the cricket was better because it is such a cute breakfast cafe and within walking distance from my house... BUT it is not good. Every so often I try going back in hopes that the food has changed, but damn, how much grease can one person put on some freaking hash browns?? The food reminds me of my grandmother's cooking: a pound of grease/lard/oil to every ounce of food. Even as hangover food, the grease is too much! stop trying to kill people!

<![CDATA[While I appreciate the vigor with which they pile on the food at the Cricket, sometimes it makes me a little sick. I've decided I'll stick with the simple offerings as the Biscuits were larger than a baby's head and dry and crumbly. It is a good place for a hangover breakfast, especially if you have them dump gravy over the whole schmutz.

<![CDATA[Killer food, especially if you're nursing a hangover. Try the little dish of chipotle sauce- it's a heart attack in a little cup, but goes great on the potatoes. The drinks list looks fun, but I haven't tried any- yet. Expect a wait on the weekend, unless you go real early or real late.
