The splatter zone was a joke. Rather than being sprayed by blood from the stage or from the actors, there were a couple of assistants wandering the splatter zone with plant misters. Why bother?

Inexplicably, this production used canned music. Why would you do that in Portland? You can find talented musicians everywhere you look in this city.

All in all it was a waste of $25 and I would recommend that everybody avoid the Portland production if it's being put on by the same troop.

If you do find yourself here and needing to hear the band, head up to the back balcony where there are a row of JBL Eon monitors playing the PA mix. They sound way better than the crap by the stage.

It's also a drag to get hit with a $2 "delivery fee" when you walk to the damn venue yourself and pay cash at the box office. If there's no escaping this bullshit tax, why isn't it advertised? Bait & switch is a pretty sleazy business practice.
