<![CDATA[I have been twice to Iorio and have found the service and the food to be exceptional. the price is very reasonable and I love getting good bread with the meal. Both times I have had the Calamri - it was too hard to experient with anything else when the Calamari was so good. My dinner companions loved their meal choices too.

<![CDATA[I've eaten at Iorio twice now and have had consistently great food and service. The staff is is warm and knowledgeable - not the "I'm really too hip to be working here and answer your questions dumbshit" attitude you get in other Portland haunts. Our waitress was super-helpful with our wine selection. Highlights from our meals were Casarecci (pasta w/ clams in garlic cream sauce, grilled ribeye (seriously one of the best steaks we've had), warm chocolate chip cookies, and cannoli from scratch. Nice cozy-red-low-light romantic ambiance, great place to bring a date. Oh, and the prices are totally reasonable. You'd pay much more for a similar meal over in the Pearl...
