<![CDATA[I hate to give a bad review because the boss guy is really nice and friendly, but Ole Ole is VERY hit or miss. I once ordered a taco salad to take home, and when I looked it appeared to be a huge burrito/taco mess. The shell was greasy, soft (not fried to shell form) and folded over to look like a wet burrito - very bizarre. The soggy taco salad doesn't even compare to the totally sick disenfectant taste that MANY of my meals have had, possibly from sitting in containers that hadn't been properly cleaned or rinsed; one time it was so severe that it was like trying to eat a burrito that had fallen into a tub of lysol. BARF. Also, I don't know why it's listed as "vegetarian friendly," unless you count the two or three veggie options that are standard fare in any Mexican restaurant. Not to mention my vegetarian friends have frequently been forced to return food for coming with chicken despite specifically asking for the vegetarian option. The worst part is for all the negative aspects, if you catch them on a good day the food is out of this world. On a good day the meals are fresh, flavorful and perfectly balanced. I think they seriously need to watch for the nasty cleaning supplies ending up in their customers food (and subsequently causing severe diarhea) because there is absolutely no reason for good food to taste so very bad.
