      <![CDATA[@Reymont, I collaborated with Dan from Copwatch on several different issues. He's got a lot more going on than just police accountability work. Same with the ACLU, they've been very helpful with finding lawyer for soldiers who need legal assistance. <br>
<br>
For these people, professional activists, it's not about spotlight or boosting their ego, it comes from a genuine concern about this community. If they wanted attention they would run for political office. <br>
<br>
Personally, I think police reforms are going to come only when the drug war is over. Until that happens, police will always consider themselves as paramilitaries, not civil servants.
