      <![CDATA[Too bad Hales said he was going to drop the case against Ron Frashour’s reinstatement, right after he got the win The Police Department here loves Hales, sure, but all Adam’s work to clean up the dept and make the city safer is now ruined. <br>

I really don’t understand why people voted for him. Is there some tact agreement here in Portland that keeping a house in Oregon but living out of state to escape taxes and reap resident benefits appropriate? It seems shady. He’s just another businessman. I was disappointed SEIU sponsored him. Along with separation of church and state, we should have separation of state and business.  The Portland Business Alliance also needs to be kept out of politics.<br>
<br>
I’m curious to see what else Hales has in store for Portland. Now we just gotta watch our backs.
