<![CDATA[I loved Pix and I liked this place, but found the service wanting. It was a slow night. The server would only take our drink order. When we asked about the tapas, she told us she didn't know much about them and that we should go to the counter and talk to the person there, which we did. The food was great, but I wish they had menus at the tables with the items and prices, for both the tapas and the desserts.

<![CDATA[Bravo Mr. Onstad! Not only is that a wonderful write up, I also feel this is the most accurate and well understood review I've read in a very long time in Portland. You really nailed the spirit of the place and covered the menu items well which is not an easy feat since the menu is so huge. I would only add that service is excellent though it can be a little difficult to get someone's attention when they're super busy. Which brings me to my second point. Nobody should ever tried to go here to get the full experience during amateur hour on a Friday or Saturday. By amateur hour I mean 7 o'clock p.m. till about 9:30 or 10. They're open 7 days a week until 2 in the morning so it's not difficult to find another time to check the place out when you will get a better feel for the service and a spectacular experience.
