Buttery crust, pasty sauce, exotic toppings--this makes for the kind of pizza you can drink a '98 Merlot with. I've been eating American Dream since I was a kid, and sometimes the crust isn't so buttery. Sometimes the sauce is a little too sweet. Once I had a pizza, and they forgot to put salt in the dough that morning, and it tasted like a cracker. But all in all, if you're willing to pay the extra money, it's still one of the best pizzas in town.

I should probably point out some of the toppings that set American Dream apart from other pizza shops: American bacon, Two-Alarm BBQ Chicken, Herb Chicken, Smoked Oysters, Spicy Ground Beef, Roasted Hazelnuts, Zucchini, Roasted Red Peppers, Smoked Gouda, and Green Chiles. They also offer your choice of tomato, chipotle, or pesto sauce.

American Dream also delivers free, but it doesn't include a large service area. Since they take a little while to prepare the pie, you can call it in, pick up a case of beer, and then go pick up the pizza before it even comes out of the oven. MB
