It's Portland's very own slice of highbrow Peruvian cuisine with flairs of a Japanese twist here and there. Much of the menu comes in three sizes (small, medium, large) so you don't have to drop rent IF you don't want to. But beware, because it easy to get carried away, especially with a menu full of creatively-concocted seafood dishes like mahi mahi and scallops, as well as spicy meats like pork in adobo sauce. The also have several vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes, tempting even dedicated wheat-eating carnivores.

The food, and atmosphere, at Andina cannot be beat. Since I'll never scale Machu Picchu, I might as well drop a few (ok, a lot) of Peruvian Sol on a fancy dinner here. You can't go wrong with just about anything on the menu, plus their wine selection is excellent as well. Not for the shallow pockets, but worth checking out since it's about as close to Peru as your landlocked-ass is gonna get.
... if I could afford it. Oh, everything is just divine. Tell the server or bartender you want a "Sexy Woman." You won't be sorry!
Coming and watching Greg Wolfe and his band at Andina is a delectable experience. He is soooo accomplished with his guitar. The food there is just as divine. Great choice. Come Sunday nights when Greg Wolfe is there.
