Archival Methodology for the 21st Century

When: Tue., May 24, 7 p.m. 2011
Price: $3-10
A nascent institution itself, YU asks the question: how should an art center, that is non-collecting, archive and represent itself as it's just beginning to forge an identity? David Senior, the bibliographer at MoMA's library, presents a survey of artist publications from the 20th century. Writer David Abel and Christina Olsen (involved with Portland Art Museum's Object Stories) will also speak. Admission is $3 for students and artists, and $5-10 sliding scale otherwise.
