Every second Thursday, the Portland Art Museum hosts a series of talks by local artists, writers, and curators on pieces they have chosen to discuss from the museum's permanent collection. Tonight, Stephanie Snyder (the Anne and John Hauberg Director and Curator of the Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Art Gallery at Reed College) gives a lecture followed by a happy hour. These things always sell out, so getting a ticket now-ish is recommended.
