Every second Thursday, the Portland Art Museum hosts a series of talks by local artists, writers, and curators on pieces they have chosen to discuss from the museum's permanent collection. Tonight, current contributing art critic to the Oregonian and former Mercury Arts Editor Chas Bowie gives a lecture followed by a happy hour. These things always sell out, so getting a ticket now-ish is recommended.
