New York style bagels -meaning chewy and boiled rather than inflated and bready (ick) for the folks in the Alameda neighborhood. They make bagel sandwiches with fresh veggies, and have many flavors of cream cheese, including low fat varieties. On par with Noah's bagels, but local and more quaint.
