Following up on last year’s solo show at Quality Pictures, Schellinger continues to mine Minimalism and Op Art for his prismatic oil paintings. The pieces in his new Chi-Shifters show are still stunning exercises in formalism, but, here, he has cranked the volume on the color palette, subbing in a mix of vibrant hues for the ghostly grays and greens of his last outing.
