I drank a pint of terrible, terrible cider this weekend—it was flat and way too sweet and just tasted like apple juice that hadn't changed out of its sweatpants in three weeks. NEVER AGAIN! I vowed. (Not really, I just drank it and then ordered something different.)
But it's cider season, and so Neighborhood Notes has a timely, informative roundup of local/regional ciders and where to find them. (Is the Moonshine's full name really "Balls the Cat's Moonshine Kitchen"? That is an excellent bar to begin with, and now I guess I will live there.)
h/t to DaveKnowsPDX for the link.
