Clovis von Tavel Crummett [1908-1988] was a photographer who worked in the armed forces for most of his life. Art was always a side project that grew more and more vigorous as the years went on, until the point when Crummett created his own kind of style. Part painting, part installation, part diorama, Crummett's work involves found objects and memories of his past military service.
