A pizza joint in the location of a former pizza joint. Dove Vivi gave the space a major face lift, and have a take on pizza different than any other in town; their pies feature a slightly chewy/crunchy, deep-dish style cornmeal crust. A slew of regular pizzas from a house-made fennel sausage to the corn, cashew vegan are joined by rotating specials every evening. Add one of their tasty salads and a big slice of housemade zuccotto for dessert and you will be rubbing you belly in contentment all night long. All pies are also available "par-baked" so you can take them home and heat them at your leisure.

Sometimes pizza seems so played out. It's always sort of the same and never really grabs me anymore now that I'm not stoned all the time like I was in college. But Dove Vivi is new and interesting, and the toppings are well-thought out, like the Corn & Caramelized onion variety. The pesto is particularly good, with its oozing pile of cheese and herbs. The staff is super nice and its a pleasant place to stop in and grab a slice and a beer.
I'm totally addicted to this pizza now. It's unlike any other pizza I've ever had there's just something about that cornmeal crust... And the salads are HUGE! Take a friend, get a slice and share a salad
I grew up where pizza is a religion and have had a hard time on the west coast finding good pie. This pizza is way different than anything i have had before, but would get this before getting 99% of the "regular" pies out here. the crust is great and the toppings plentiful. good deal for $20. it took me 4 days to finish the pie i got.
This place seems too good to be true. The pizzas are awesome - crisp crusts with unusual, rich toppings like eggplant, fresh tomatoes and blue cheese - the beer selection is great, and the staff is really sweet.
How can I describe how good, slightly crunchy cornmeal crust, my faves are the corn, smoky cheese and balsamic vinegar marinated onions, then there is the eggplant one I go there every week. The owners are great too.
