Feelings and How to Destroy Them

When: Sept. 5-Oct. 26 2013
Artist A.L. Steiner uses all kinds of mediums for her confrontational work, which explores queer identity, gender roles, and ecological concerns in a pugnacious but immediate and striking way. Combining video work with elements of photography, writing, performance, and more, Steiner’s TBA installation serves as a survey of her many projects, which have appeared in museums around the globe. Her work draws connections between the state of human sexuality and its natural, environmental surroundings, and the inescapable corruption of both at the hands of humankind. NED LANNAMANN
