I've gone to Firehouse twice so far and it's great! The pizza has great flavor, though has been slightly underdone both times I've gone. The salmon was amazing and the hangar steak was good too (the salmon was better). The vibe there is really mellow and you can tell the people who run it have their $hit together. The ingredients taste really fresh and the combinations are interesting but not so 'ironic' that it's a turn off, which seems to be the trend in Portland these days. My husband and I went there last night and got bruschetta (1 piece), a salad, a pizza, salmon, dessert, and a bottle of wine for $75! We ordered way too much food, I am still full the next day. A great addition to the neighborhood. I hope they start doing brunch!
