Change through craft is the theme of this sprawling five-month exhibit. Sara Black and John Preus begin the work in progress by building a stage for the six subsequent artists in residence. Next, Anthea Black takes the show even further, employing a gang of young Portland queers to poster the town gay. Later highlights include a bicycle-powered sewing machine; a porcelain cup-throwing extravaganza; and finally, a righteous whitewashing to clean the slate. In this revolution, the people demand rubber cement.
