Originally a public market, and later a bowling alley whose heyday had long since passed, this city-block-spanning building has been remodeled as a multi-use complex. The center point is now a restaurant and bowling lounge, with a state-of-the-art 12-lane bowling alley, complete with comfy lounge chairs, bar, pool tables and tons of TVs. All this is surrounded by a mezzanine full of seating and fireplaces (and more TVs), as well as private and semi-private meeting and party rooms. The full-service restaurant is quite a few steps beyond the usual bowling alley microwaved pizza and pump-cheese nachos. Instead, they serve a varied selection of snacky appetizers, salads, pizza, sandwiches, burgers and higher-end entrées.
