From the folks who brought you the venerable (and now sadly defunct) Hungry Tiger. Taking up the rest of the building next to the Three Friends Coffeehouse, it is certainly not the divey old Hungry Tiger, but it is warm and homey in its own right. HT2 consists of two rooms, one housing the gigantic bar, the other, comfy booths, pinball, a mural of tigers (depicted with varying degrees of competence) and a sunny, new back deck. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options include classic American bar chow like burgers, sandwiches, salads but they also have a separate all-vegan menu with meat-free versions of some of the same favorites and more. A meat and cheese-free ruben that will rival the cheesy, meaty version, and a vegan mac-n-cheese to name just a couple. If you're willing to brave the crowd, check out the popular corndog day on Wednesdays for $1 corndogs (vegan or regular). It's hipster heaven!
