When a New Jersey high school decides to produce the Greek play Lysistrata, all of the town is bewitched. Paralleling the plotline of the Greek play, where women refuse to sleep with any men until they end the Peloponnesian War, the women of Stellar Plains, New Jersey take a tacit oath of celibacy, scrutinizing their formerly shared lives.
