The home of Portland's very first espresso machine, this is where the well-off are likely to dine in the Sellwood/Moreland area. With a relatively small menu of gourmet dishes (at gourmet prices), this location can be a bit easier to get in to and park by than their Alphabet District outpost, but reservations are always a good idea. The real claim to fame here, though, is the dessert. Papa Haydn's cakes, pies and cobblers have contributed nicely to the overall caloric intake of Portland since 1978.
