Old-school diner in the Heart of St. John's named after the proprietress. Pattie's is no-frills, sick-to-the-basics Americana at it's best (or worst depending on who you ask). Eggs, pancakes, hash browns and different pork products make up the breakfast menu. Sandwiches (on white bread-natch), burgers, meat loaf and the like constitute lunch and dinner. The clientèle runs toward the trucker, good old boy type older fellas and gals who've haunted road-stop places like this since time immemorial. Also, if you're in need of a wig, fish lures or picture frames, there's a store in back carrying all of the aforementioned treasures and more.
