This food cart in the Area 23 pod has a mission beyond just serving you delicious sweet and savory waffles with a variety of yummy toppings. Firstly, their generating half of their electricity by the sun (with hopes of more in the future)! Secondly they are a non-profit with their proceeds going to the Portland Public Schools! And most awesomely, the cart was thought-up, decorated and operated by youth from the Portland Community Transition Program! So give them your money, get a waffle and help your community. ...Now!
