• Twenty-five businesses (Demimonde, Soho Boutique, Golden, Sweet Jayne, Here We Go Again, Kitchen Kaboodle, and more) are banding together for Ladies' Night Out, with 15-20 percent discounts, among other deals, and food and drink specials at area participants like Great Wine Buys and Hale Pele, so you can graze as you shop. • Portland's hardest-partying shoe source, Solestruck, is hosting its first-ever holiday bazaar with an array of party favors and guest vendors like Imaginary Authors, Reif, and Seaecho—the latter two, along with men's neckwear company PINO, have custom Solestruck exclusives in the works, too. Solestruck, 417 SW 13th, Thurs Dec 5, 7 pm

• Should you find yourself walking the First Thursday beat in the Pearl tonight, you'll encounter a handful of shops' holiday open-house events, such as at FlairWalk, which is giving a sneak peek of a mysterious new Portland fashion designer, dessert, drinks, discounts, and a raffle for $100 good in the store. FlairWalk, 1023 NW 11th, Thurs Dec 5, 5:30-8:30 pm

• Surprisingly, this event isn't a bazaar or pop-up shop. It's a good old-fashioned runway show, something we are otherwise usually deprived of this time of year. Communion will be featuring clothing from their current season, though, so if you see something you like, 'tis still the season... Dig a Pony, 736 SE Grand, Thurs Dec 5, 8 pm

• There are other things to celebrate this month, you know. Like the repeal of Prohibition! Goorin Bros. is hosting a speakeasy-themed launch party to commemorate the anniversary of the 21st Amendment's demise, featuring its new Repeal of Prohibition holiday collection. Whisper the code "scofflaw" to try the '20s-themed party's special secret cocktail. Goorin Bros., 808 NW 23rd, Thurs Dec 5, 6-9 pm

Yo Vintage! is pairing up with home goods website Nice Work (Nice Work, Yo!) for a month-long pop-up of "all things rad." The kickoff goes down as part of First Thursday, or stop in post-party for a mellower to-do. Yo Vintage!, 413 SW 13th, Thurs Dec 5, 6-9 pm

• Eight of the businesses on one of Portland's newest shopping avenues are hosting the annual Shop Williams Late. Shops like Ink & Peat, Lodekka. Myoptic, and SpielWerk Toys will stay open late as well as offer 20 percent discounts. N Williams between Shaver & Beech, Fri Dec 6, 6:30-9:30 pm

The Bazaar opens Friday with a pay-to-play ticket price, or come for free throughout the rest of the weekend. 217 NE 8th, #101, Fri Dec 6, 5-9 pm, $10, Sat Dec 7 & Sun Dec 8, 9 am-4 pm
