Thursdays-Saturdays, 7 p.m., Sundays, 2 p.m. and Wed., Dec. 23, 7 p.m. Continues through Jan. 10 2010
"Transvestites!" "Separated Twins!" "Deranged Bat Boy Found in Cave!" Sometimes, Shakespeare's works can be described using only the vocabulary of the National Enquirer. Those semi-literate exclamations are a pretty accurate distillation of Twelfth Night, which takes the stage via the Northwest Classical Theatre Company (NWCTC), and features original compositions from local jazz/pop singer Mary Kadderly. Sticking to the motto of "Content over Concept," NWCTC moves the seting from Illyria, Yugoslavia (say where?) to a version of Rick's Cafe from the film Casablanca . No shows 12/24 or 12/25.
