I'm sure someone could come up with a way to make it un-rideable. Maybe hang bikes vertically like on the max?

South Korea is generally a very law-abiding country (the concept was devised for use in Seoul) but in just about any U.S. city (even ours) I think the thing would be vandalized pretty quickly, of just serve as a smorgasbord of bikes to steal.
