My friend and Portland writing guru Nancy Rommelman happens to have an 18-year-old daughter with a flair for clothing design, who'll be showing off her fourth collection on Alberta tomorrow night. Tafv Sampson (Rommelman, junior) and her fellow 18-year-old designer buddy, Katie Gargan, will be at Zaytoon from 7:30pm. As would I be, if it weren't for a scheduled meeting of the cops' Citizen's Review Committee, which of course, is bound to be full of late teen models in hot outfits, too. So it's not like I'll be missing out.
