Anti-police protestor Joel Dow
The state is moving forward with pressing charges against the 26-year-old protester accused of throwing his bike at a motorcycle cop during Tuesday night's anti-police protest.

As seen in this video, protesters were marching along a residential street in SE when one of the officers closely following the group on his motorcycle sped up and ran into a bike someone was wheeling. A moment of chaos broke out and a cyclist hurled his bike at the officer, who was struck but uninjured.

Police charged suspected bike-thrower Joel Dow with four crimes, including felony assault, and he is currently being held on bail totaling over $250,000.

About 15 friends of Dow rallied this afternoon outside the downtown justice center, waving an anarchy flags and wearing shirts reading, "I threw the bike! Free Joel!"
