In this edition of Saturday Morning Cartoon, we take a detour deep inside WHAT THE FUCK? Here's an oldie from the year of our lord 1961 from Paramount that is AMAZING on many levels. Level one: It's racist-y for its portrayal of cannibalistic pygmies who wear bones in their hair. But that's not the worst part. Level two: The primary subject is CANNIBALISM. Level three: Cannibalism is like AIDS in that it can be transferred from person to person through blood transfusions. I DID NOT KNOW THAT. In fact, I learned a lot from this cartoon—primarily that the world in the early '60s was a dark, creepy (but nevertheless funny) place.
Enjoy (??) Paramount's short cartoon, "Chew Chew Baby!" And try to enjoy the rest of your day.
