The dreaded Westboro Baptist Church is heading to Portland next week to wave some "God Hates Fags" signs and rattle on about anti-Christ Obama. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "But wait! Didn't they protest our fags just like two years ago?" Yes, well, apparently the Kansas-based church has cleared its busy schedule of spreading hate to make time for Portland. According to the group's tour schedule they will be swinging through Portland next week to protest several Jewish community centers (classy) and a Catholic church, before looping through Vancouver and returning to protest Grant High School on June 3rd.

Why does Grant deserve to be protested? Here's why, say the Westboro Baptists: "Today's youth are violent brute beasts who are good for absolutely nothing. Their parents, teachers and preachers did that to justify their own sins. Anti-Christ Beast Obama does the same — he despises God as well as his neighbor."

Grant supporters are already organizing a non-violent counter-protest. Check out the details here! Taking inspiration from a San Francisco counter-protest, the Grant supporters are encouraging Portlanders to bring their own ridiculous signs to the event. Anyone down for dressing up as Beast Obama?
