It's no secret that women are poorly represented in games. Like minorities and homosexuals, they're treated about as well as they are in the real world, only since the world of video games is only roughly 30 years old, female equality is roughly on par with what it was in 1850s reality.

Needless to say, there are a lot of women who don't see this as all too fair.

LadyKillas Inc. (a development house who seem to have absolutely no presence on the Internet) decided to take things into their own hands, and crafted a game called Hey Baby that, similar to Quake and Grand Theft Auto, allows players to violently express themselves against their "everyday frustrations," only "in this case, [it's] the kind of frustration that women feel when strangers treat them as sexual objects in a public space."

Have a look at the trailer:

I'll grant that it's an original concept, but the graphics and gameplay in that clip look to be straight out of 1999. You could have the most appealing idea since SimCity and no one will give a shit if they can get better looking games on their graphing calculators.

Too bad that, as I really do think virtual women ought to be given some better roles than just "damsel in distress," "scary badass with a heart of gold," or "psychotic, evil representation of the developer's frustrating sex life."
