Just a quick reminder about two book signings that are happening tonight and tomorrow:

- Brian Chippendale's If 'n Oof
Tonight at Floating World Comics from 6-9 pm, graphic novelists C.F. and Brian Chippendale will sign copies of their newest releases, respectively titled Powr Mastrs 3 and If ‘n Oof. C.F.'s Powr Mastrs 3 is detailed in the press release as a "Dune-like science fiction/fantasy epic featuring a misguided scientist and the race of beings he has created, who inhabit a surreal world called New China." Sounds pretty rad. Chippendale's If ‘n Oof sounds like your classic buddy/adventure story, featuring 800 pages of "the misadventures of the mismatched eponymous duo," Laurel and Hardy. Right on. Comic book writer Matt Fraction will be at Floating World to interview C.F. and Chippendale at 7 pm.

In other book-signing news, on Saturday night from 5-9 pm at Compound Gallery, world-renowned poster artist Emek will put his Johnny H on copies of his new book, Emek...
