Tonight marks the second (I think) monthly comedy night at Mudai Lounge, on 9th an NE Broadway. It's a funky little joint that lacks a few chairs but makes up for it with a strange ambiance. Alison and I went to the first show, hosted by the charmingly odd southern transplant, Timmy Williams, and we both walked away happy.
This installment features Andrew Dhulst, Dennis Williams, Jimmy Newstetter, and one of my very favorites, Richard Bain. I'm not finding a price, but if memory serves last we paid $5—a small price for the stylings of Bain alone—seriously, dude should be famous.
OK then—so there's actually something to do on the Tuesday between Christmas and New Years. Who knew?
