Tonight, Things from Another World hosts a signing and party with Tim Seeley, creator of the Suicide Girls-endorsed Hack/Slash, an ongoing series about a hot lady and her hulking, disfigured sidekick, who hunt horror movie bad guys in ways that presumably horror fans and Suicide Girl fans quite appreciate.

Seeley will be signing Hack/Slash Trailers Part 2, a book he put together to pay off artists he's worked with in the past whose work went uncompensated after his former publisher failed to pay the bills (comics being an industry in which contracts are too-frequently treated as "vague suggestions"). Trailers Part 2 contributors Scott Allie (Dark Horse editor/Buffy Season 8, Solomon Kane) and Shane White (Fractured Fables, One Month to Live) will also be on hand—and, of course, TFAW always aims to make up for the inherent flatness of a "comic book signing" with loads of free food and drink. Here's a sneak peek at the menu:

Hack/Slashed (pulled) pork sandwiches
Slasher Slaw (which is vegan)
Assorted mini sandwiches—meat and vegan options
The ever-popular onion dip
Bean dip (vegan)
At least 13 dozen cookies

That's tonight at Things from Another World's Hollywood location, 4133 NE Sandy, 7-10 pm, FREE.
