Oregon State University got into hot water over its Modern Sex conference two weeks ago after administrators un-invited keynote speaker Tristan Taormino because they thought it would be bad policy to pay a "self-described pornographer" with public money from the state.

Students circulated a petition to pay Taormino's speaking fee with student dollars instead of college general funds and—guess what—they succeeded! The woman who literally wrote the book on anal sex is back on the bill to give her talk “Claiming Your Sexual Power,” on Tuesday, February 15 at 7:00 pm in LaSells Stewart Center at Oregon State University.

In a pretty hilarious twist to this whole story, after OSU canceled her talk, a University of Oregon professor contacted Taormino and asked her to come speak in Eugene, instead. The day after appearing at USO, she'll head over to duck territory to give a talk called, "My Life as a Feminist Pornographer."

For Portlanders, Taormino is also giving an anal sex workshop at She Bop on Valentine's Day. Rawr.
