Remember when Beaverton Schools banned student teacher Seth Stambaugh from the district after he told a student he was gay?

After school staff and thousands of people across the country rallied to support Stambaugh, the district invited him back into his classroom and revised its nondiscrimination policies with help from Basic Rights Oregon.

But today comes the announcement that Stambaugh is getting some literal payback from the district: $75,000 to settle all claims of discrimination. That should help out with the Lewis and Clark grad school fees.
