Here's what Erik said about its run last spring:

Starring a slew of talented local comedians—from the Third Floor’s Ted Douglass and Michael Fetters to my hee-larious, brilliant, and handsome boss, Wm. Steven Humphrey—Road House: The Play is exactly what it promises to be: A condensed version of the amazing 1989 Swayze film, complete with intensely preposterous dialogue and gleeful esophagus-ripping. Lo-fi and goofy, Road House: The Play moves quickly and sharply, never wearing out its gimmicky premise; with witty touches, eager performances, and a contagious sense of balls-out enthusiasm, it’s funny and clever and great. Go. And be nice. EH
