It took five months, but the experts have finally figured out exactly who voted in the November 2010 election. Demographic results show that turnout among voters under 29 dropped slightly from the 2005. But the good news is that Oregon had the highest youth voter turnout in the entire damn nation! People under 30 voted at a rate of 35.7 percent (whooo!) versus 61 percent of "old" people. That's still quite the gap, but we certainly owe a lot of the difference to get-out-the-vote efforts and our vote by mail system. Runners-up were Minnesota and Washington.
