The deadline to register for the Portland 24-Hour Film Race is has been extended until 2 pm today—participating teams have 24 hours to create a short film based on a theme and a "surprise element." Portland's films will screen at the Hollywood Theater on May 11; the winning film will join 23 others from participating cities, for a "gala screening and awards ceremony" in New York City.
