Straight up, there are all kinds of awesome games being announced at this year's E3 conference.

In lieu of responsibly explaining everything in detail like some kind of journalist or something, I'm going to be offering periodic updates throughout the week of the event's raddest stuff.

Today was a pretty big day for new game announcements, and trailers from things you're already anticipating heavily, so I'll just let the videos speak for themselves.

Monday was Microsoft's day to shine, and the company brought out the big guns. Specifically, the announcement of Halo 4:

Oh, and this fall Microsoft is also releasing a remake of the original Halo built on top of the Halo: Reach engine:

Continuing the theme of trailers saving me from having to do any actual work here, BioWare dropped a new Mass Effect 3 teaser, as well as two gameplay videos:

Likewise, Bethesda unveiled seven minutes of gameplay from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim:

Of personal interest to me, are the two new clips from the upcoming SSX sequel:

Finally (and I swear this is the last cop out trailer) EA coughed up a live demo of Battlefield 3's tank gameplay:

A handful of other announcements, including the unveiling of Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 and a new Brothers In Arms game round out the day's highlights.
