100gf says, "Dutch type foundry Typotheque has filed a lawsuit against the people behind Rick Santorum‘s presidential campaign website, claiming that the site allegedly uses the Fedra font without permission." If Typotheque's charges are true, this is yet another case of a Republican who doesn't respect the integrity of intellectual property.

Admittedly, the suit doesn't name Santorum's campaign or Santorum himself, but it's surprisingly easy to picture Rick Santorum as a font thief (for some reason, I picture him dressed up like the Hamburglar). Of course, if Rick Santorum designed his own website, he would obviously use Comic Sans everywhere, except for the "Meet Rick and Family" page, which naturally, as a reflection of the serious and loving nature of Santorum's relationship with his family, would be tastefully rendered in Papyrus.
