The world is dominated by greed and cruelty bland jewelry. It's such an unnecessary, highly personalized form of adornment that I feel unapologetic about the fact that most of it just passes me right by. The flip side of course is a twinge of glee when something does catch my eye, and Portland artist Marisa Howard's line Seaworthy is one that manages to do so with some consistency. I'm currently jocking the earrings she's designed using African glass beads. Really love the pop of color on these:
