Musician/DJ Anya Marina has announced the details of her upcoming album, which is due out next year on Chop Shop/Atlantic Records. Marina, once based in California, is now a full-time Portland resident, and the forthcoming record bears clear evidence of this: She's given it the title Felony Flats. No word if it's a concept album about meth tweakers hanging out on SE Foster, but the record (which Marina produced herself) contains local guest musicians like drummer Joe Plummer of Modest Mouse/Mister Heavenly, guitarist/pianist Eric Earley of Blitzen Trapper, and bassist Jeff Bond. Felony Flats is due out February 14, 2012.

End Hits: Nothing says Valentine's Day like an album named for Portland's most romantic neighborhood.
