The Good: Have you seen this amazing Fox News "mistake" yet? In a graphic showing the candidates' standings in the polls, they put a photo of Barack Obama where Mitt Romney's face should have gone:

The apology that followed was about as perfunctory as you can get; if ever you needed proof that Fox News dislikes Romney, there it is.

The Bad: A new AP poll says 52% of all Americans say Barack Obama should not be reelected. This isn't as dire as it sounds—it's a year away from the election, of course, and it's not a poll of likely voters, among other, broader problems that always come with polls of this sort—but it's still not good news for the Obama Administration because it gives the Republicans another faux-statistic they can employ in their stump speeches.

The Sexy: Gawker says the first openly gay member of Texas's legislature has published a book titled Head Figure Head: The Search for the Hidden Life of Rick Perry. It's mostly a couple of anonymous interviews with men who claimed to have had sex with Perry, backed up with sketchier, vaguer, interviews. Gawker has an excerpt, which includes this account of what the sex was like:

"He jerked down his shorts," [James said], "It lasted about a minute. He had a little dick. It was the worst fuck of my life. And on top of it all he stunk because he had been jogging. He then pulled up his shorts and put the used condom in his pocket."

You know, this book doesn't sound very credible, but I have to say: That sure does sound like what sex with a gay man who's closeted as a bigoted anti-gay politican would be like.
