HBO has been reeeeal hit and miss lately, with the debut of the well-cast but slow as molasses Luck, and Ricky Gervais' Life's Too Short which is funny by half. (GET IT??? Okay, whatever, it's not funny at all.) However the network may have a hit on its hands with the April 15 premiere of Girls, executive produced by Judd Apatow—you know, that Freaks and Geeks and Bridesmaids and Knocked Up and a billion other things guy—and created and starring Lena Dunham (Tiny Furniture). It's all about a gaggle of 20-something gals trying to make it in New York, and by the look of this trailer? IT'S FUNNY. Watch it and keep your fingers crossed.
